Every quote starts here. John measures up, assesses the ground and the drainage, and works out what base the site actually needs to stay SuDS-compliant. This is what lets us price accurately rather than guess — and it costs you nothing.
The base engineering
The biggest variable
How much excavation, and what pervious sub-base the ground calls for, is usually the single biggest factor. A sound existing base needs less than a soft or poorly-drained one. Naveed Hameed's review captures why it matters: John 'ensured a solid foundation before laying a flawless resin overlay.'

Your choice
The area to be surfaced and the aggregate blend you choose both feed into the figure. Wally Wallace's review notes John 'gave us three cost options, which very helped' — we'll usually set out choices so you can decide where to spend.
How you pay
4-stage plan
Payment is spread across four stages — 10% on booking, 30% at groundwork, 40% at installation and 20% on completion. Nothing is due up front for the whole job, and the final stage is settled only once you've walked the finished work.
What moves the price
- The size of the area to be surfaced.
- Ground conditions — levels, existing base and how the site drains.
- How much excavation and pervious sub-base engineering the base needs.
- The aggregate blend and finish you choose.
- Whether it's a fresh installation, an overlay or a repair.
- Any landscaping — paving, fencing, lighting or planting — bundled into the scheme.
